{"id":4581,"date":"2019-04-24T15:29:16","date_gmt":"2019-04-24T13:29:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thyssenkrupp.hu\/hu\/thyssenkrupp-donates-infusion-pumps-to-sote-children-s-hospital\/"},"modified":"2026-07-15T09:44:47","modified_gmt":"2026-07-15T07:44:47","slug":"thyssenkrupp-donates-infusion-pumps-to-sote-children-s-hospital","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thyssenkrupp.hu\/en\/thyssenkrupp-donates-infusion-pumps-to-sote-children-s-hospital\/","title":{"rendered":"Thyssenkrupp donates infusion pumps to SOTE Children\u2019s Hospital"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Marc de Bastos Eckstein, managing director of the thyssenkrupp Components Technology Hungary Kft. presented the two infusion pumps donated to the 2<sup>nd<\/sup> Department of Paediatrics of Semmelweis University of Medical Sciences (the T\u0171zolt\u00f3 Street hospital) on 28<sup>th<\/sup> January, which were accepted by Head Nurse T\u00f3thn\u00e9 Korn\u00e9lia K\u00f3nya representing the hospital.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In the T\u0171zolt\u00f3 Street hospital, 100\u2013150 new young cancer patients are treated every year, which constitutes 40% of all new paediatric cancer cases in Hungary.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Infusion pumps ensuring accurate dosage are crucial in treating cancer, as the complete eradication of leukaemia cells is made possible with the help of these tools. Infusion pumps are able to ensure uninterrupted infusion, highly accurate dosage of medication, precise, programmed administration of chemotherapeutic medicine. In the case of chemotherapy, manual dosage is not an option, as perfect accuracy is essential. Children will be able to receive medication through the pumps for 2\u20134\u20136 hours.
